Marxist homeschool

In case there was any doubt amongst my regular readers, today's homeschooling adventure left no doubt in my mind that, yes, indeed, we are homeschooling Marxism -- at least to some degree. T regularly doodles on the edges of his papers, especially his math papers. Today, since I worked the afternoon, T finished his math with L. When I came home, L showed me T's math page for the day. On the edges were little pig and piggy bank doodles. Cute. Makes sense. The problems were adding up columns of money amounts. "Cute," I say.

"Just cute?" he asks, "Do you know what they are? T! Come here and tell Mommy about your drawings."

T waltzes in and says brightly, "Oh. Those. The ones with dollar signs are capitalist pigs. The ones standing on them are the rebel working pigs squishing them."

Oh! Could a mother possibly be more proud?!
